- Water system sanitizing and winterization – your water system in your RV is different than the one in your home. Your RV is stored outdoors and endures the changing climates that mother nature throws at it. In the spring, after your RV has been sitting idle all winter, your water system needs to be flushed and sanitized so you can start using it again. Then, prior to winter/freezing time, the water in your freshwater system needs to be flushed and food grade antifreeze needs to be injected into your system so the water lines do you freeze and rupture during harsh winter cold weather.
